Meet the FOSTBC ambassador dogs
Loch

(full name Tweedhope Loch ISDS 235209)
Black and white, rough coated

Born in 1997, Loch is a real gentleman and a versatile working dog. He competed and won in sheepdog trials and shepherded on the hills prior to his arrival at Mainline Border Collie Centre in 2005 where he still works sheep and assists on Corporate and Sheepdog Experience days. He is a highly intelligent, wonderfully kind and gentle dog, very willing, with a sharp sense of humour, and is an excellent character judge.

As Ambassador for the Freedom of Spirit Trust - Loch attends seminars and most of the Trust's functions but, given he is one of our more senior ambassadors, we make sure his work load is light. Loch adores children so one of his specialities is visiting schools to help children to have a better understanding of dogs. Our ambassador dogs are wonderful at teaching children about dog awareness including how to approach a dog and when not to approach a dog.
