Jess's a young girl at approximately 2 - 5 year(s) old. Jess is now looking for her forever home, she is a little sweetie but also very full of energy.

Border Collies are not 'pets' they are highly intelligent and very sensitive companions. We are proud of the way our rescue dogs respond to the training we do with them to prepare them for their new homes. Our work is the foundation and we ask all potential adopters to be aware of the hard work involved in the first months of adoption. They don't come perfect they need your time and patience.

Jess may need some patience for house training, she is good on a lead but will need her training keeping up. Jess is a stalker so she needs a home in an area with very little traffic and no sheep in the area. She will stand and wait for slow moving but anything rushing past and she would want to chase. She is fine with most dogs but would need to be the only dog in the home. Jess will get all the support needed from the Trust when she is rehomed.

Jess's ideal home will be where there are no sheep regularly grazing near her home, the flow of traffic is very light, no children and no cats.

If you would like to express in interest in adopting Jess please email the Trust at
