Update 15/01/10
Rocky is a good dog but he will always try and test people so he does need to be in a home where someone can spend time keeping up his training. He is becoming really companionable and working with him is a pleasure but he still needs to do a lot of growing up and needs someone who can really understand him.

Update October 10th
Rocky still has a lot to learn but he has changed from the wild child that first came to us to a loving, playful lad who is willing to learn. He is good on a lead, although this can be tested when he is in new surroundings. He is now learning house manners, such as not to jump up at kitchen units, to chill out on his mat when asked to and he loves going in a cage to have some quiet time. He still has a lot to learn but he is very loving, good with other dogs and with people and he is full of fun.
Rocky has been with us for over five months and in that time he has come on in leaps and bounds but he would really benefit now from being a special dog for someone.


Update 25 sept.
Rocky is ready to go to a new home. He does need someone with experience of young energetic collies. He is good to handle, good with other dogs and good with people. He a big dog but he is also a bit of a gentle giant.

Update
Rocky is really settling down now. He used to be manic with horses and sheep but is now learning to ignore them. His lead walking has improved greatly and he is now becoming a pleasure to take out for a walk. His recall is still not to be trusted when off a long line but he is still very young and is learning. Rocky still has a quite long way to go with his training but he is now ready for a new home so he can learn with his new guardian. He is full of fun, good with people and good with other dogs.

Previous
Rocky was too much for his previous owners to handle but he is a lovely dog with a good temperament. Rocky needs someone experienced but he is very willing to learn and is quite sensitive. He is full of fun, is very responsive and is intelligent so he needs to be in a home with someone who can teach him good manners and help him to use his intelligence in a constructive way
