The Freedom of Spirit Trust has several Ambassador Dogs. These dogs are all excellent Ambassadors for the breed and have been chosen from the dogs at Mainline Border Collie Centre to act as Ambassadors for the Trust.

They will be at our seminars and workshops and their work will also include visiting schools, colleges, rescue centres and dog clubs.

Each of them has a different area of expertise but whether it is as a PAT dog, a sheepdog, a companion or a ‘confidence’ dog they are all full of fun, humour and affection. Please Contact Us if you would like more information about our Ambassador Dogs and their roles.

Digby

Digby is deaf. He was born on Christmas day and came into the care of the Trust when he was under three weeks old.

Tessie works sheep on the farm and when not working loves doing her speciality 'wave' to get attention. She is one of our junior Ambassador Dogs and is learning how to be part of the team when they travel to functions and talks.

Millie

Millie, is young works sheep and loves sitting on a chair watching other dogs work, in fact she has her own 'directors' chair in the indoor arena. Like Dart she loves children and will happily sit and pose for photographs and then curl up on someone's knee for a snooze

Highly intelligent, wonderfully kind and gentle dog, very willing, with a sharp sense of humour, and is an excellent character judge.

Loves people but her manners are impeccable. She often delights people with her ability to charm, asking for cuddles without being cheeky.
